In particular, she studies sexual assault within the context of interpersonal violence and victimization across the lifespan, recovery following alcohol-involved sexual assault, and associations between PTSD and alcohol use problems. Jaffe’s program of research centers on understanding the role of alcohol in sexual assault risk and recovery. Jaffe joined the UNL faculty and is a core faculty member of the Clinical Psychology Training Program.ĭr. She then completed a NIAAA-funded postdoctoral fellowship in addictions research at the University of Washington, where she also served as an Acting Assistant Professor. Jaffe completed her clinical internship specializing in traumatic stress at the Medical University of South Carolina. in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Quantitative Methods from UNL.
